With the line “10 years in our lane,” No Kings becomes the culmination of a decade-long rise to the top of Twin Cities hip-hop.

Doomtree starts a second-week-of-December tradition with their first Blowout at the Varsity Theater.

In the Blowout's second year, Doomtree moves the show to First Avenue's Mainroom, home of all future Blowouts.

Past Blowouts have featured guests, including b-boys to break between sets.

Not long after the fourth Blowout, the crew releases a Doomtree Blowout DVD including concert footage.

The solo albums started coming thick around Doomtree 5, making the crew showcase even more necessary.

The Blowout expands to two nights...which then become three, as the snowstorm of the year crushes the Metrodome roof and gives rise to the Doomtree Snowout.

One whole fucking week. What else can we say, besides the fact that we hope this becomes a yearly tradition?
