The Alcohol By Volume series exists to bring together Minneapolis’ music scene with it’s thriving craft cocktail culture. On Monday we announced our first bartender participant, Rob Jones, and now we put the final piece of the puzzle in place for tomorrow night’s event. Our second bartender to enter the ring will be Richy Rivera.

Richy started bartending back in Puerto Rico when he was 13 years old and he never quite got it out of his system. When he came to Minnesota to study at the U he fell in love with our city and before long felt the bar calling him back. He’s been at Eli’s Food & Cocktails in downtown Minneapolis for 4 1/2 years and has been splitting time lately between there and the new Eli’s East in, um, Northeast MPLS.
